The first and last thing that matters in business is your market and your relationship to it.
Always start with your market in mind first
Ask yourself these two questions:
“WHO do you feel best fit to serve?”
“WHO responds well to what you have to offer?”
All the gurus love to talk about the upside of doing business online.
Low start up costs, low overhead, 24/7 reach the world.
All are true. But the downside to online marketing is this:
Unless you know how to turn browsers into buyers, you won’t make a cent.
Traffic + Conversion = Sustainability
When you get these two things right – and you’re marketing the right thing to the right market at the right time - you’ll see that success in business is not about luck.
It’s about first KNOWING (you-them + them-you) – eg “the right market”
And then building likeability and trust over time – always one product/one step ahead of those you serve.
