Years or Certifications = Credibility
This is VERY relative! In the land of the blind, the man with one eye is king.
Sometimes you can be too far ahead of your audience (in perception, if not reality), when you can get away with being just ONE step ahead of them.
In fact, more often than not, it can even be an advantage as they can connect and relate with you better – than say a GURU
The GTE Success Mindset Principle # 4: Ability = Results = Credibility

KISS. Keep it simple, stupid. Know the ONE big result you produce.
You need to understand your topic very well and then create formulas (underlying principles to organise your content).
Look to reduce every process to the key drivers only. Concepts are the human mind’s way of simplifying the world around. If you do not use concepts, then you are working with detail.
Get known for ONE highly leveragable in-demand skill. I liken it to the front door of a house. Once in (and acquainted) you can then invite guest into other rooms (areas of specialities).
Know Your #1 Strength
Because if you don’t know your #1 Strength, you will struggle with Marketing!
You won’t come across as clear and confident.
Mine is my ability to see macro and micro perspectives simultaneously in relation to each other – to make comparisons out of complex content – to determine the facts and provide clear direction.
Today’s Takeaway: Credibility = Influence (relevance – ability or skills) + Impact (respect – the ONE key result they get by working with you) + Visibility (revered – known by a lot of people for the value you provide)
Never put someone else on such a high pedestal that you think they have some magical powers you don’t.
They simply do at least ONE thing better than you do!
OR they are able to communicate they can do that ONE thing better than you can!
