For many Experts, Online Visibility = Success

# eg It’s all about Marketing

OK first I would never suggest marketing is not important. It’s one thing to be an Expert and on top of your game.

It’s another to be known by many for that and being an Expert is as much about being known as being good at what you do.

So yes marketing is vitally important.

But if there is so much good marketing info out there, why are not more Experts seeing success?

Answer. There is SO much competition! Many simply sound and look the same because all doing a similar thing.

You see Marketing is not just about self-promotion, yelling & selling & followup after followup (although many call that marketing).

It’s about both creating & channelling desire for your services and products (and relationship building) and there’s both an art and a science to that.

When you get this, you realise it’s not just about finding the right niche or cute marketing message.

It’s also about commanding their respect and attention (eg coming across as relevant).

So here’s the caveat: Positioning = Success

# You MUST be “Remarkable”

The Japaneese have this concept ‘Ikigai’. Everyone has a hidden Ikigai, but the finding of it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self. However, the discovery of one’s ikigai brings satisfaction and meaning to life.

An example of this is many Fit Pros title themselves the #1 Personal Trainer or Fat Loss Expert.

So I came up with the title of The Fitness & Fat Loss Alchemist for Spencer Cuckney of Fitwomanbootcamp.com

Why? Because Spencer is not only one of the UK’s foremost authorities on Fitness & Fat Loss – he’s been doing it so long and incorporates lots of mindset training into his bootcamps that even he can’t put his finger on his exact formula for getting results (hence the element of magic aka alchemist). This title is both unique and distinctive.

And this is the thing. Authority Beats Commodity!

A shift in positioning can increase your earnings 3-5 fold AND achieve your goals with less expense, effort + time. Because quite simply people take more notice of you!

  • This means putting a velvet rope around you
  • Having lots of stuff to share or invite people to (so they can get to know you & what you have to offer)
  • Helpful resource section on your website that can ONLY be found on your website
  • A theme or clear identity that allows you to speak with a consistent voice
  • Over time. you develop a reputation as the GTE. Clients seek you out and pay whatever you charge.
