Technology and an increse in competition means any business owner today has no excuse for not staying in the loop with their customers.
Getting specific feedback is invaluable as it means you can improve your marketing, web site, products/services and general overall business operation.
Business is about getting, keeping and multiplying customers. So who do you think you should you be listening to the most?!
- Create an online community for your customers via Facebook or Ning. What are they saying or interested in?
- Give away your products to a select group of your customers. Ask them to use and review the product.
- Use surveys and questionnaires regularly to improve your business.
- Create a customer focus group. Invite ten of your most loyal customers to meet regularly. Give them free products. Make them feel special.
- Make it easy for your customers to contact you. Offer as many contact methods as possible.
- Invite your customers to luncheons, workshops or seminars. Create special events for your customers like parties, barbecues, trips etc.
Of course, these aren’t the only ways. Get creative!

I think it’s very important to get feedback on your website. When making sites, we either make them for ourselves or only guess as to what the visitors might want to see.
