The Warrior Mindset - BUSHIDO!

The mind of the past is a mind of compromise.

The mind of the future is a mind of creation.

When we are stuck in a mode of compromise, we find ourselves making compromise after compromise, descending into a downward spiral that shrinks what was once a limitless world.

Eventually we find ourselves living within a small bubble that we call our comfort zone, where less and less seems possible for ourselves.

Why it's not about learning more or trying harder…

Most of us are confined to the limits of our comfort zones.

Most of us know enough to be very successful in life, and what we don't know, we can easily find out. So learning more is not the answer, because not knowing is not the problem.

The problem is not laziness either. This is only a symptom of a deeper problem. So doing more or working harder are not the solution.

The problem is this: we simply can't get ourselves to do what we think we should.

The problem has to do with how our mind (our self-guidance system) operates.

The core problem lies beneath our usual level of consciousness.

Self-guidance is more of an Art than a Science

I can perhaps give you the answer, the tool, the technique, the paradigm-shift, the inspiration, or something else that you need to finally be living your full potential, but…

Pretty soon you'll go back to life as usual, only perhaps a little smarter or a little better.

You still have the same core conflicts limiting your ability to powerfully guide yourself.

The answer: You need to start cultivating the traits of a warrior.

A warrior is someone who stands for his values and vision in the face of external and internal conflict.

Living life like a warrior is the opposite of hanging out in our comfort zone, avoiding conflict. Somtimes a warrior will even seek conflict, as it strengthens them rather than weakens them.

All of us have awakenings (shifts in perspectives, which cause us to feel more enlightened, more responsible or more powerful in life) from time to time.

And all of us must seek these situations more often and cultivate the mindset to resource the right guide for us for each step of the way.
