When there is an abundance of information, like on the internet, you have to decide how you will stand apart.
Because the big challenge in 2010 is not just in getting attention, it is also getting people to actually consume your content.
With this in mind, if you want your content and products to prosper online, you must pay attention to these 3 key drivers:
1. Clarity – people want to be able to access and grab what they bought without jumping through hoops.
2. Consumption – buyers want to be able to apply or activate your content without being overloaded and overwhelmed.
3. Confidence – people want to be able to use your information easily. They do not want to have to WORK to make it work.
Infoproducts have had a hard time in certain quarters recently, but largely not enough attention has gone into how they are first created and later packaged & presented.
Competition (Innovation) demands Faster – Easier – Better. So remember the 3 C’s: Clarity – Consumption – Confidence which will drive the popularity of your products!
